Home Owners Association

Our mission is to provide you with a service which is friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and professional.

The Thatchfield Home Owners’ Association was established with a view to:

Ensure the character and quality of the townships to be proclaimed on the parent property;
Control the architectural and aesthetic development of the buildings and their surrounds in the townships;
Control the recreation areas forming a portion of the parent property specifically set aside for the exclusive use of the residents;
Provide satisfactory security to each township and to the parent property as a whole;
Generally, make such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the peace and tranquillity of the townships to be proclaimed on the parent property.

Every owner of an erf in the townships or any subdivision thereof or any interest therein or any unit thereon (as defined in the Sectional Titles Act 95/1986) shall upon registration of transfer automatically become a member of the Home Owners’ Association.

All owners are legally obliged to pay a monthly levy to the Home Owners’ Association. Levies are normally set in March of each year.

The Home Owners Association is responsible for the approval of building plans, registration of access for residents and the registration of access of workers e.g. domestics, gardeners and service providers.

The offices are located opposite the Thatchfield golf course.

Our managing agents for levy queries is JM Venter Property Services.

JM Venter Property Services CC is the appointed Managing Agent for Thatchfield HOA. JM Venter Property Services CC provides specialized services, supported by good IT systems which are constantly updated to the latest technologies. Their services are needed to assist the Home Owners’ Association in maintaining its objectives while meeting the requirements of the legislation.
