SECURITY ACCESS
Complete “Biometrics Access Application for Residents” form.
Access application forms must be completed and submitted to the Thatchfield HOA Office by hand or via email admin2@thatchfield.co.za.
Application forms must be accompanied by the Offer to Purchase document for new owners or a Lease Agreement for renting.
As per completed application form, the office also requires a clear color copy of the ID document or passport for each person who is occupying the property and applying for access at the gate.
Should you wish to renew or apply for your domestic worker’s access card and biometrics to enter the estate, please visit the Thatchfield Office in person. Please note that your domestic worker or gardener must accompany you to the Thatchfield Management Office to register them for biometrics. We require an original ID document or Asylum Seeker documents (which will indicate a watermark when held against the light) OR passport with a valid work permit. The Thatchfield Management Office will only allow access for the period that the work permit is valid.

Yes, pets are allowed.
Pet owners have a responsibility to ensure that their pets are registered with the HOA Office by completing an application form.
- All pets must be kept inside a properly fenced property;
- All cats (toms & queens) and dogs must be sterilized.
- Your pet must be confined to your exclusive use area and may not roam on the communal areas.
- Dogs must be on a leash and accompanied by yourselves when allowed on the communal areas.
- No defecation must be left for more than 24 hours on any grass areas including your fenced areas.

ADMINISTRATION
Pleas send an email to admin2@thatchfield.co.za to request the changing of a contact number. Please supply the stand number or addres, the name and surname of the person for the new number or to remove a number.
All levies are due and payable in advance on the first day of each calendar month. Request Form for Levy Statement to be sent via Email
The HOA office does not supply levy statements. Please contact our Managing Agent, JM Venter Property Services CC on 012 644 1010 or email accounts@jmventerprop.co.za.
BUILDING REQUIREMENTS
Permission is required. You need to submit a copy of the quotation, permission letters from your neighbours and a copy of your house plan indicating the size and position of the Wendy house.
Important – no domestic workers can live in a Wendy house as per municipal bylaws.
Please refer to the Rules of Conduct, page 5, point 2.4 Building Deposits & 2.5 Architectural Standards and Guidelines as well as the “Building Alterations” document.
All building plans, including plans for the fencing or walling of an erf, additions to, improvements, or the erection of Wendy houses, must be consented to and stamped by the HOA before any plans are submitted to the local authority for approval.
For HOA approval we require:
- Four (minimum size A2 or larger) colour copies of the changed house plans.
- The signature of all surrounding neighbours indicating their signature, initials and surname, stand number and contact telephone number on each page of the changed house plan.
- Required proof of payment of the building deposit.
Plans can be submitted during normal office hours at the HOA office. Plans will be attended to within 48 hours of submission.

When reporting faulty streetlights please provide the following information:
- Physical street address;
- Adjacent streets;
- Pole number if available alternatively your house number;
- Contact telephone number
- Details of the problem.

REFUSE/ GARDEN

You can apply for a waste bin via www.tshwane.gov.za or at a walk-in centre.
Physical Address: Room G13, Block G, Centurion Municpal Offices, cnr Basden Avenue and Rabie Street, Lyttleton.
You can also walk in at the Waste Management Depot.
Complete an application form and submit it electronically to the relevant municipal office.
If your bin has been stolen or damaged, you need to provide an affidavit together with your application form.
Upon delivery of the bin, mark your bin with your house number.

- Dumping of refuse bags on sidewalks and open stands remains a serious problem in Thatchfield Estate. Please inform your domestic worker and gardener not to place garden refuse and bags on the sidewalks.
- Residents must dispose of garden refuse themselves. Please keep your garden refuse within your own stand parameters and not those of your neighbours.
FACILITIES
ll Thatchfield residents are welcome to make use of the tennis/ basketball courts.

RULES:
- Use of the tennis courts are at your own risk;
- Courts are for Thatchfield residents and their guests only;
- Guests must be accompanied by a resident;
- No food, glass or alcohol are allowed on the courts;
- No pets allowed;
- No bicycles, roller blades or skateboards are allowed on the courts;
- Proper footwear is required;
- Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult;
- Do not misuse the nets or other equipment;
- Court hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
